Fostering
As a foster-based rescue, we occasionally need additional fosters. Fostering is not for everyone, as it is often hard to give up a ferret that you have bonded with and possibly nursed back to health. Here at Navarre Ferret Rescue we strive to keep all rescues with the same foster home during their entire stay, which often lasts for weeks to many months. We have found this necessary to decrease the likelihood that a particular ferret will become depressed and stop eating. We cannot guarantee when a ferret that needs fostering will arrive or how long it will take to find them a forever home.
